If you want to make a credit card payment on a case with a payment order, go to Judici. Enter your case number or search by entering your name (Last Name, First Name). Follow the directions after your case has been selected.

If your ticket is marked "COURT APPEARANCE REQUIRED", you CAN NOT pay prior to your appearance. Go to court on the date given on your ticket.

If your ticket is marked "NO COURT APPEARANCE REQUIRED", you have the following options.

1. You may plead guilty and pay applicable fees. A conviction is reported to the Secretary of State. We do not accept PERSONAL CHECKS. Please remit a cashiers check or money order. Speeding 1-20 mph over the limit: $120
Speeding 21-30 mph over the limit: $140
All other non court appearance offenses: $120
Seat belt offense: $60

2. You may plead not guilty and request a trial. (Follow directions on the back of your traffic ticket.)

3. You may plead guilty and request the Traffic Safety Program. You do not have to appear in court and, if you successfully complete the program, a conviction is not entered on your driving record.

To determine if you are eligible for the Traffic Safety Program, please answer the following questions:

A. In the twelve (12) months preceding the date of this ticket, have you been charged with any moving violation anywhere in the U.S.?
B. In the four (4) years preceding the date of this ticket, have you taken a 4-hour Defensive Driving course, had a ticket amended to a "non-moving" violation, or been on Court Supervision anywhere in the U.S.?
C. Were you charged with driving twenty-one (21) miles or more over the posted speed limit?
D. Do you have a Commercial Driver's License (CDL)?
E. Was your ticket marked with COURT APPEARANCE REQUIRED?

If you can answer "Yes" to any of the questions above, you are NOT eligible for the program. Please contact the Moultrie County State's Attorneys Office at 217-728-4353 if you are interested in requesting court supervision.

If you answered "No" to all of the above questions, you qualify for the Traffic Safety Program. There is an additional cost of $50.00 for participation. Please contact the clerk's office to request a registration form if you are interested in participating in the program.
